Advancing Quantum Sensing via Quantum Control (09th September to 13th September 2019)

“Advancing Quantum Sensing via Quantum Control” is our first, students driven workshop. The students of the network has established a committee and took care of all the aspects of the organisation, from the structure and selection of the speakers to the finer details.

The workshop aims to provide an in-depth look at the various platforms that constitute the backbone of the project (Cold Atoms, Superconducting Qubits, NV Centers, Quantum Optimal Control Theory), showcasing both, the theoretical and experimental aspects. The program will also involve special sessions dedicated to developing a scientific outreach portfolio, preparing scientific proposals and navigating standardised quantum control software for industry. Furthermore, the workshop includes a poster session to discuss the participants’ research.
