ESR Phila Rembold publishes a „Science“ article

We are happy to announce that our ESR Phila Rembold (University of Ulm, Jülich Research Centre, University of Padua) is part of a paper that has been pubished by the „Science“ journal. This marks our first high profile pubblication by an ESR.

The paper“Generation and manipulation of Schrödinger cat states in Rydberg atom arrays“ demonstrate the creation of “Schrödinger cat” states of the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) type with up to 20 qubits and further demonstrate entanglement manipulation by using GHZ states to distribute entanglement to distant sites in the array, establishing important ingredients for quantum information processing and quantum metrology.
